Avec de gros moyens, financ\u00e9s pour l\u2019essentiel par des fondations priv\u00e9es, comme souvent aux USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et les premiers retours sont int\u00e9ressants&nbsp;: de nouvelles recherches sugg\u00e8rent que les patients souffrant de Covid long n\u2019auraient pas totalement \u00e9limin\u00e9 le virus, qui pourrait persister dans les tissus o\u00f9 il continuerait \u00e0 provoquer l\u2019inflammation du syst\u00e8me immunitaire. Tout en restant ind\u00e9tectable par les tests habituels. C\u2019est aussi ce que disent beaucoup de chercheurs sur la persistance de Borrelia dans les tissus chez un certain nombre de patients, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s traitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Consortium travaille sur de multiples projets prometteurs dans cette direction. Comme celui des syst\u00e8mes&nbsp;\u00ab&nbsp;microfluides&nbsp;\u00bb&nbsp;pour visualiser les interactions&nbsp;entre pathog\u00e8nes et cellules h\u00f4tes, ou comme le projet de \u00ab&nbsp;pipeline d\u2019analyse de tissus&nbsp;\u00bb, pour les infections chroniques dont Lyme, qui vise \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter par&nbsp;s\u00e9quen\u00e7age la persistance de Borrelia et d\u2019autres pathog\u00e8nes dans les tissus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces travaux vont faire progresser la connaissance, dans un domaine crucial pour le diagnostic et le traitement&nbsp;: la persistance ou la non-persistance des pathog\u00e8nes dans l\u2019organisme.
