En juillet, nous avons \u00e9t\u00e9 re\u00e7us \u00e0 l’ANRS-MIE (agence nationale de recherche sur le sida et les maladies infectieuses \u00e9mergentes, sous l’\u00e9gide de l’INSERM), pour \u00e9changer sur les projets de recherche en cours et \u00e0 venir. Sans surprise, il n’y a l\u00e0 aucun projet de recherche en cours. Et ailleurs dans le paysage scientifique fran\u00e7ais, les projets sur la maladie de Lyme sont anecdotiques, et concernent davantage les tiques et les animaux que les humains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Cette situation est bien s\u00fbr aberrante, et nous ne nous r\u00e9signons pas. Notre objectif est de r\u00e9ussir \u00e0 mettre sur les rails un plan de recherche digne de ce nom, dont voici les grandes lignes, que nous avons discut\u00e9 lors de cette r\u00e9union :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Recenser les malades de Lyme, y compris ceux porteurs de la forme chronique, pour d\u00e9terminer et suivre la pr\u00e9valence de la borr\u00e9liose de Lyme et des MVT<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    (ce sujet est capital car aujourd’hui, comme vous le savez, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d’infectiologie minimise terriblement le nombre de ces malades, ce qui nous rend inaudibles)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Am\u00e9liorer et fiabiliser le diagnostic :
      • Revisiter les tests actuels, travailler sur de nouveaux tests<\/li>
      • Etablir un r\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel symptomatologique pour objectiver le diagnostic des patients Lyme long<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
        • Etudier pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les autres MVT (et co-infections), pour recenser leur incidence r\u00e9elle et leur impact combin\u00e9<\/li>
        • Travailler sur les causes de la persistance :
          • Statuer sur la persistance bact\u00e9rienne<\/li>
          • Statuer sur l’existence de biofilms concernant borr\u00e9lia<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
            • Am\u00e9liorer les traitements pour les patients \u00ab\u00a0Lyme long\u00a0\u00bb :
              • Faire des tests cliniques sur les protocoles publi\u00e9s, les am\u00e9liorer<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
              • Statuer sur les autres formes de transmission (sanguine, sexuelle, etc.)<\/li><\/ul>\n
