\u00ab2007 sera une bonne ann\u00e9e pour les tiques\u00bb, pr\u00e9disent les experts, qui recommandent \u00e0 tous les randonneurs une grande vigilance et notamment en Alsace, dans le Limousin et en Lorraine. Les tiques sont vecteurs de la maladie de Lyme et de la m\u00e9ningo-enc\u00e9phalite \u00e0 tiques (MET). La premi\u00e8re se manifeste par une inflammation locale de la peau. Non diagnostiqu\u00e9e et non trait\u00e9e par antibiotique, elle poursuit son \u00e9volution et provoque de fortes fatigues, des douleurs articulaires, des difficult\u00e9s cardiaques et des troubles neurologiques. La seconde prend les signes d’une grippe et peut aboutir \u00e0 de graves troubles du syst\u00e8me nerveux. Si un vaccin est disponible contre la m\u00e9ningo-enc\u00e9phalite \u00e0 tiques, la seule parade contre la maladie de Lyme est de porter des v\u00eatements couvrants lors des promenades en for\u00eat et de pister les tiques apr\u00e8s chaque balade en d\u00e9sinfectant la plaie apr\u00e8s extraction.\t\t<\/p>\n
